Welcome to Dove's In The Sky, We are a family run dove release business, situated in South Wales.
We use White Rock Doves which are a homing dove and are trained from young to fly home after every release.
Releasing doves speaks a thousand words and will keep you and your guests talking about it for years to come. Doves choose one partner for life and make this commitment until death. The white dove has been used throughout history as a symbol of Love, Peace, Purity, Faithfulness and Prosperity.

Wedding
It is said that if doves are seen on your wedding day, a happy home is assured. Releasing doves represents the love and commitment you have given to one another this day. Whenever afterwards you see a white dove, you will be reminded of that special day.
They are very gentle and peaceful birds, highly intelligent, and very nurturing towards their young, returning home to us once released. The releasing of pure white doves is a very symbolic and romantic gesture of your lifelong commitment to each other.
Our bespoke cages and baskets are decorated to the highest standards for your special day, we can include your floral colour theme making each white dove release unique.

Funeral
Releasing white doves is a beautiful way of expressing your love and final goodbye. Pure white symbolise peace and love, helping to bring closure for family and friends: a unique way to honour your loved one and a memory to last in everyone’s heart.
We understand your sadness and loss. We offer to liaise with family members or, if preferred, directly with your chosen funeral director. We would require contact name and number and which type of “Dove release " you have chosen, and then we make all our arrangements in co-ordination with your funeral director, keeping intrusion to a minimum at this difficult time.
Our white doves can be releases from our beautiful decorated bespoke baskets or by hand.
Once the doves have been released they will fly up into the sky and circle around above with their wings glistening in the light before making their journey.
"Dove Releases” can be either at the cemetery, crematorium, your home or other relevant location.

T & Cs
Our doves can only be released from distances whereby they can safely reach their home based in Glyncoch, Pontypridd.Our doves cannot be released too close to dusk, indoors, at night or in bad weather conditions. Forecast bad weather on the day: in the event of poor weather forecast for the day of a booked event, we will make every effort to contact you before hand to discuss other options. In some instances we may offer extra display doves indoor (for weddings) as an alternative. If weather conditions are uncertain, we may actually travel to an event and make a decision upon arrival, in which case we may decide (with your approval) to only use display doves and give a reading. If a dove release is unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather a full refund may be appropriate or whichever of our other solutions a client may prefer. For funerals and memorials a full refund will be given. A non-refundable deposit of £70 is required at the time of booking with the balance being payable 2 weeks prior to your event. Should you cancel more than two weeks prior to your event you will receive a refund minus the £70 deposit. If you cancel two weeks or less before your event we will not be able to issue a refund. Dove's in the sky handler will be present at all times during your event. All bookings over 25 miles from our home base in Glyncoch, Pontypridd will be charged extra at a rate of £1 per mile, to be paid with our final balance. We do not provide birds for self-release. Every effort is made, by adjusting their diet, to ensure that birds do not produce droppings during a release however in the event of an accident we cannot be held responsible. Bookings are for 90 minutes maximum for the welfare of the birds. Dove's in the sky may take photographs at the event to use for publicity purposes unless requested not to do so by the client. For your convenience and benefit please be aware that we covered by Public Liability insurance. We attribute our reputation to the lasting customer relationships we’ve developed throughout the year. All our doves are registered with WHPU and DEFRA which is a legal requirement.
